Unlike competitive systems, smartveg will not allow premature changeover to potentially damaging cold veg oil. Only when the engine has warmed sufficiently (the vehicle temperature gauge isn’t the best guide!) will smartveg permit veg oil operation. Reassuringly, smartveg will ensure that you safely purge your vehicle's injection system of vegetable oil, when you switch off.

Combined with the attractive Display Module (included as standard in the elite 22 and elite 33 systems), you’ll always know exactly what is going on – even the level of fuel in the auxiliary tank. During engine warm up, the led bar graph shows the engine heating progress and therefore an indication of time to switch over to veg oil.

Once running on veg oil, the Display Module automatically switches over to show fuel level in your auxiliary tank (this will either be diesel or veg oil, depending on your choice of fuel in the auxiliary tank).

When purging the engine of veg oil with diesel, the Display Module automatically switches to show the progress of the flush sequence.
