Can I convert my vehicle myself?

Yes, if you're vehicle is of the older, non-common rail type. A person able to perform car DIY tasks to the level of Haynes Manual ‘three spanner rating’ will be able to fit the kit in around a day. Although if this is the first time you’re fitting a smartveg system we recommend you allow two full days. Please don't attempt a conversion in an evening if you require your vehicle the following day!

We generally recommend having a common-rail vehicle converted at one of our conversion centres or only attempting if you are a confident and highly experienced motor mechanic. We provide full conversion support and guidance during normal office hours via telephone and e-mail if required.
