Can you delivery veg oil to my private address?
If your motivation for home delivery is purely cost (as opposed to convenience) then this is highly unlikely to be cheaper than buying oil from a supermarket or commercial catering outlet, such as Booker or Makro. This is simply down to the massive bulk buying power of the supermarket chains and selling staple items at, or near, cost to entice customers into outlets for higher profit margin items.
If you're in the UK, oil stored in any quantity greater than 200 litres must comply with Environmental Agency requirements for the bunding of a fuel. This legislation is design to protect drains and water courses from the worst case possible event – the complete loss of the contents of a fuel storage tank due to accidental or malicious discharge. (See http://www.defra.gov.uk/environment/water/quality/oilstore/index.htm).
Essentially the legislation requires you to ‘bund’ the storage area. This can take the form of a simple containment wall or more commonly a self-bunding storage tank (see www.fuelproof.co.uk for their budget range of suitable self-bunding storage tanks). In either case the bund must be able to contain a minimum of 110% of full tank capacity. Unless you are able to comply with bunding regulations for the storage of oil (just like home central heating oil) we are not able for legal reasons to supply to domestic addresses.
