Will my vehicle work with smartveg?

Generally, the older the diesel vehicle the more it lends itself to a successful conversion. This is because most modern diesels contain complex engine management electronics together with a high pressure common-rail diesel delivery system to the fuel injectors. Additionally, some common-rail engines make use of electric in-tank lift pumps, designed to deliver fuel to the engine. These are often fragile and will inevitable fail is expected to lift vegetable oil. These vehicles can still be converted, but veg oil must normally be run from the auxiliary tank with an additional veg tolerant lift pump.
