Will smartveg work on my vehicle?

Smartveg has been designed to be a universal, non-bespoke conversion system suitable for all indirect injection and common-rail private vehicles. However, common-rail engines (Dti, Hdi etc) are slightly more complicated to convert than older vehicles. If your particular vehicle has an electric in tank lift pump in its fuel tank, then an additional electric fuel pump will be required (approximately an additional £120 on top the standard kit price).

We generally recommend having a common-rail vehicle converted at our conversion centre or only attempting if you are a confident and highly experienced motor mechanic. We do provide conversion support and guidance during normal office hours via telephone and e-mail, if required.

An older, non common-rail vehicle can easily be home converted in a weekend by the experienced DIY motor mechanic.
