Smartveg technology wins National Business award
On Friday, 14th December Regenatec, suppliers of smartveg, were honoured to host Mr John Baxter, president of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers at their offices. The prestigious IMechE Engineering the Future award, won at the National Business Awards in November, was re-presented to Ben Mayo, Business Development Manager for Smartveg.
“All of the team here at Regenatec, are delighted to have won this impressive award,” said Mr Mayo. “It is the first time our innovative technology has been recognised, beating off competition from much more established names. For an engineering company like ours to win this nationally important award reinforces just what a fantastic product we have.”
Regenatec has seen a huge upsurge in demand for smartveg, their intelligent diesel to veg oil conversion systems over the past year, as attitudes to running on pure vegetable oil as a fuel change. Customers can now make huge savings by using veg oil fuel, whilst helping to significantly reduce their carbon footprint. “For this kind of forward thinking technology to be recognised in this way is great news, and to be awarded this prestigious award by arguably the most recognised engineer in the UK is nothing short of an amazing honour.”
