Veggin' Into Town to Help Keep Rubbish Down!
The Northmoor Trust’s Wild Waste Show travels to schools across Oxfordshire free of charge, its task being to teach children about recycling and sustainable living.
This 6-litre 100kW Ford Iveco based vehicle was teaching the eco-message but burning fossil fuel to do so. Now, after a smartveg conversion, its green credentials are unquestionable!
Children are invited to buy their way onto the charity operated bus with a litre of ‘liquid sunshine’ (vegetable oil), which they can pour directly into the veggy tank inside the classroom. Good news for the charity, as they get free fuel (except for the duty payable on biofuel) and educational fun for the children.

This project was made possible by the kind support of Oxfordshire County Council, Grundon Recycling and M & M Commercials our smartveg fitting Centre of Excellence, based On Milton Park, Oxfordshire.
